Simulation of the Nuclear Transmutation Effects in LENR
نویسنده
چکیده
LENR phenomena begin with a still poorly-understood entrance of a fermion/boson into the nuclear interior. One such mechanism – the thermal neutron-induced fission of uranium – was discovered in 1938 and subsequently revolutionized global military conflict and international politics [1]. Modern research indicates the reality of multiple LENR mechanisms in small and medium-sized nuclei [2], promising another revolution in energy production. Conceptually, LENR implies an expansion of the “central dogma” of the dynamics of atomic systems, ca. 1932, to a dogma that includes a mechanism of nuclear excitation by particles that enter the nucleus through the atom’s own electromagnetic periphery [3] (the solid arrow): Neutrons Protons Electrons

Role of cluster formation in the LENR process
Presence and absence of expected radiation, occurrence of nuclear reactions having only one apparent product, and transmutation reactions involving addition of more than one deuteron all indicate involvement of large clusters of deuterons in the LENR process. These clusters are proposed to hide their Coulomb barrier and to react with isolated deuterons to produce fusion and to react with larger...
متن کاملTransmutations and Isotopic shifts in LENR Experiments: An Overview
This overview presents a brief summary of observations of products of transmutation reactions which occur in a variety of LENR configurations wherein the “host metal” nuclei react with loaded deuterium or hydrogen, resulting in the formation of new stable elements or isotopes not present prior to an experimental run.
متن کاملAn Approach to Explaining Cold Fusion
Cold fusion or Low Energy Nuclear Reaction (LENR) is a process that results in various nuclear reactions involving all isotopes of hydrogen within what appear to be ordinary materials at ordinary temperatures. In general terms, the reactions can be described as fusion when two hydrogen isotopes combine to form a single product nuclei or as transmutation when one or more hydrogen isotope nuclei ...
متن کاملAn Explanation of Low-energy Nuclear Reactions (Cold Fusion)
A plausible nuclear-active-environment in which Low-energy Nuclear Reaction (LENR) occurs is identified by ruling out various possibilities and by identifying an environment that is common to all successful methods. When this environment is combined with a plausible mechanism, many testable predictions result. These insights and proposals are offered to help clarify understanding of LENR and to...
متن کاملThe Application of LENR to Synergistic Mission Capabilities
This paper presents an overview of several missions that exploit the capabilities of a Low Energy Nuclear Reaction (LENR) aircraft propulsion system. LENR is a form of nuclear energy and potentially has over 4,000 times the energy density of chemical energy sources. It does not have any harmful emissions or radiation which makes it extremely appealing. The global reliance on crude oil for aircr...
